NaNoWriMo 2017

It is almost time! Among the scattered golden leaves, the pumpkin ‘everything’ and a spot of sweater weather, I find myself tuning out the world too often these days. I am gearing up for NaNoWriMo, but I have yet to create the outline… I plan to shut myself away each morning and buckle down this year on a new suspense/thriller novel. I forsee a large quantity of hot ‘orange rum’ tea, and powdered donuts cluttering my beautiful yellow table soon! Hope everyone is getting a break from this strange, and scary, summer. Have a great week!

Back!

Well, the seasonal job was supposed to be March to May, but it began in January and is finally over! Back among the living, and so, so, so much to catch up on! Taking a deep breath today, getting some badly needed rest, then diving back into the novels! (Stacked up 4 deep and counting right now that I am trying to write LOL) Have a fabulous weekend and I will be back with updates soon!

Exhaustion

Taking a badly needed but short vacation. The seasonal plant job began two months early, and the product demand has nearly doubled over last year. I plan to take the day to recover my spirit and relax, then get back into writing each day when possible. My brain is swirling; overloaded with plots! Wishing you all a fabulous week!IMG_8760

Resolutions?

2017. It came in on a cold, rainy wind. I have to admit that this is the first year that I did not make any resolutions. However, I have scaled down to tiny living (best thing I have done in ages) with my husband and three pups, and I plan to stress less this year. The seasonal plant job will begin much earlier than usual, and I have yet to write my old-fashioned romance that I had intended to release on Valentine’s Day, but I am okay with that. I have put far too much pressure on myself these past few years, and my health suffered for it. I am in the final edits of Brutal Souls and will release it soon, and am beyond happy with my first paranormal attempt. There are still many more genres to go, but slowly I will get there… Have a fabulous week everyone!
